David's Safety Tips
Whether Your with David or by Yourselves:
~ Always carry a cell phone!
~ Know the number 911.
~ Always know your location - so that you can inform 911.
~ Buy & carry a legal small can of pepper spray.
(Only buy or use it if you want to!) (Carry it only into places that allow it.)
(Do not use it if it is not safe to do so.) (Do not use if it is not warranted.)
~ Don't be a hero - Don't put you or someone in more harm!!!
~ Lock all your car doors.
~ Put anything of value out of sight & locked in the trunk!
(Try to have this done before you get to your destination.)
~ Only carry what you really need!
(Such as equipment or cash & credit cards - make copies of cards #.s & contact #'s)
~ Always travel in numbers of 2 or more persons!
~ Always stay in visible areas as much as possible!
~ When making a purchase make sure you - only pay for what you purchased.
~ When making a purchase make sure you - get your I.D. & Credit Cards & Change back!.
~ Beware of persons appearing to be begging, in need of directions or help!
~ Try to avoid telling people that you are from out of state or out of the area!
~ If Lost ? - Don't stop just any where for help! Think before you ask for help!
~ Only expose small amounts of cash when paying for items!
~ If out drinking - Have a designated driver / sober person!
~ Carry & Use SUNTAN lotion!
~ Carry & Use Cool Water!
~ Carry & Use mosquito repentant! &/Or long thin sleeves & long thin pants.
~ Watch out for poisonous snakes in the wild! (I have only been near snakes a few times!)
~ Be careful to not get bit by fire ants or stand in fire ant beds!
~ If barefoot watch out for sand spurs & broken glass!
